Came across this sea turtle washed up on the beach

Came across this sea turtle washed up on the beach early this morning. It was unable to move with growths covering much its underside. Contacted the FWC who immediately dispatched Stacey, a volunteer with Coastal Connections who brought it for treatment, likely the Brevard Zoo where there is a turtle hospital. Sadly, it is a virus that strikes juvenile sea turtles as a result of warming waters and pollution. Remaining hopeful that she can return to the sea one day!
