This piece is the result of a wonderful and unforgetable experience. At midnight one evening, a leatherback turtle emerged from the sea, crawled up the sand and made a nest, layed her eggs, and then exhausted, crawled back to the sea and vanished in the waves.
This sculpture honors her and the memory of this magical moment.
